About the Role
Unilever is one of the world leading consumer goods companies. Our global packaging procurement team is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage our flexible packaging material supply base across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 15+ flexible packaging suppliers across film, laminate, and sleeve categories
- Drive supplier performance through scorecard management covering quality, service, and sustainability
- Lead supply risk management including dual-sourcing and buffer stock strategies
- Support the annual packaging cost savings programme targeting 3–5% year-on-year
- Work with R&D and brands on packaging material transitions, including recyclable material switches
- Implement Unilever responsible sourcing requirements across the supply base
Requirements
- ✓5+ years supply chain or procurement experience in FMCG or packaging
- ✓Deep understanding of flexible packaging materials (films, laminates, sleeves)
- ✓Experience managing multi-country supplier relationships
- ✓Strong analytical skills; proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel
- ✓Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and certifications (FSC, ISCC)
- ✓Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
