Packaging Technologist

Sun Chemical (Aura Global) is a catalyst for global change, partnering with the world's leading retailers and brands to deliver smarter, more sustainable packaging. In this full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, you will develop and optimise packaging designs, collaborate with internal teams and clients, conduct R&D on materials and techniques, and provide technical expertise in food packaging solutions. Responsibilities: - Review and validation of all components and Bills of Materials (BOMs) aligned to client briefs and legislative requirements - Analyse technical aspects of components/BOMs including adherence to brief, sustainability criteria, and recycled content requirements - Perform comprehensive cutter/die-line review against client checklist requirements - Liaise with product/packaging suppliers and client contacts to provide technical packaging support - Support consultancy team in structural packaging consultancy projects - Continuously update knowledge on alternative packaging formats, printing techniques and packaging constructions Requirements: - Institute of Packaging Diploma or equivalent qualification - Excellent communicator and team player - Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
