Packaging Development Manager

Nestlé is the worlds largest food and beverage company. Our UK packaging team in York is responsible for developing packaging for confectionery, cereals, and ambient food brands including KitKat, Shreddies, and Maggi. We are looking for a Packaging Development Manager to lead the delivery of packaging innovation and renovation projects across our UK portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end packaging development for 5–8 simultaneous projects from concept to launch - Drive the transition of UK packaging to Nestlé net-zero packaging commitments (recyclable, reusable, or compostable by 2025) - Manage packaging suppliers and brief structural and graphic design agencies - Conduct packaging performance, shelf life, and transport trials - Work with regulatory affairs on food contact compliance, labelling, and on-pack sustainability claims - Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, supply chain, and operations
