About the Role
Gerresheimer is a global partner to the pharma and healthcare industry for packaging solutions including glass vials, syringes, and plastic drug delivery devices. We are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic pharmaceutical accounts across DACH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 10–15 strategic pharma and biotech accounts with combined revenue €15M+
- Develop account growth plans and identify cross-selling opportunities across primary packaging and drug delivery
- Lead commercial negotiations including frame agreements and annual price reviews
- Coordinate with technical, quality, and regulatory teams to resolve customer issues
- Manage new product development projects from enquiry to commercial launch
- Attend CPhI and ACHEMA trade shows to represent Gerresheimer
Requirements
- ✓3+ years key account management experience in pharma packaging or life sciences
- ✓Strong technical understanding of primary packaging (glass or plastic)
- ✓Experience with FDA/EMA regulated supply chains
- ✓Track record of growing accounts year-on-year
- ✓Fluent German and English required; additional languages a plus
- ✓Willingness to travel 30–40% across DACH region
